Thankfully, I have a bit of experience with "chicken scratch!" :) Here's a try:

* expect more than what culture tells us.

- the time and energy that I neglect to spend - the effort will be quickly filled by a culture that is relentless in pursuing and having its way with my kids.

* completely inspired
- to be the master of culture
- to be my kids champion by raising my level of expectations beyond what culture ?requires?
- I believe my children can accomplish so much more than what culture does

Hope that helps! :)
